get me on that train

I noticed this Louis Vuitton ad campaign in a magazine this summer (couldn’t find it online yet- weird, or maybe I should have looked harder). Since then, I haven’t been able to get it out of my head and finally, there it was- in my New York Times Style magazine on Sunday- yay!
Lovely, all of it- the lapels, jewel toned colors, over-sized crinkly hats, wig purses (a good place to practice Pinterest braid ideas in your downtime).

I’ve been reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern in which there is a train and it’s set in the early 1900′s. The author does a great job of scene description and clothing colors and fabrics- especially the gowns. Let’s just say, thanks to Louis Vuitton, I’ve got some pretty great images in my head as I read. I’ll let you know how the book finishes up.
