Halloween fabric bowl

Onto Step 2 in bowl making… organizing the fabric.  I though I would start with a Halloween bowl and dive into my hoard stash of Halloween fabrics.

I used a healthy brushful of Mod Podge on the backs of all fabric pieces when sticking them to the paper mache. The whole bowl needs a top coat of Mod Podge inside and out too, but I think I’d wait overnight and let the fabric dry out completely first.

The Mod Podge I used is a gloss finish, so with a top coat it will all be very shiny which is a good thing for a bowl right?

The inside, a good place to put all your candy.

I’ll have to get that top coat on later, right now we are off to southern Utah (Escalante) for the weekend at Grandma’s bed & breakfast.
