Onto Step 2 in bowl making… organizing the fabric. I though I would start with a Halloween bowl and dive into my hoard stash of Halloween fabrics.

I used a healthy brushful of Mod Podge on the backs of all fabric pieces when sticking them to the paper mache. The whole bowl needs a top coat of Mod Podge inside and out too, but I think I’d wait overnight and let the fabric dry out completely first.

The Mod Podge I used is a gloss finish, so with a top coat it will all be very shiny which is a good thing for a bowl right?

I’ll have to get that top coat on later, right now we are off to southern Utah (Escalante) for the weekend at Grandma’s bed & breakfast.
