Or little nuggets from heaven… I’m going to re-publish this post because everyone who has ever tasted homemade chocolate peanut butter balls loves them so very much. Seriously, they belong in the Guinness Book of Delicious Treats, especially satisfying if you love the Reese’s PB Cup combo of chocolate and peanut butter.
I’m gearing up for an afternoon of holiday baking today when the kidlets get home from school and these are on the top of the to-make list.
You’re wishing you were my neighbor right now because they’re likely going out as gifts tonight, although I’m not guaranteeing more than one or two, when I turn my back on my kitchen helpers they rapidly disappear.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls
1 cup crunchy Peanut Butter
1/4 cup butter softened
2 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 pkg. (14oz.) chocolate candy coating or 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
In a large bowl, combine peanut butter and butter. Add Rice Krispies and sugar, mix until evenly combined. Portion cereal mixture, using a rounded measuring teaspoon. Roll into balls and set aside (hint- if you wet your hands slightly when rolling the balls, your hands won’t get coated with the mixture, also the balls will hold a nice round shape). On top of a double boiler, melt the chocolate. If you use semi sweet chocolate chips (or the chocolate is chunky and weird as it melts) you might want to add 1 tsp. of butter or Crisco to help make the melted chocolate smooth. Dip each peanut butter ball in coating, roll around and set to dry on waxed paper. Refrigerate until firm. About 90 calories per ball… so don’t eat just one!
Just a little something to think about or forget… it’s the holidays, live it up!

Mmmmmmmmmmm…………………..LOVE these! My Nana used to make them and I could eat my weight in them!
I”m pinning this so I can make them for Valentine’s Day too!
I HAVE to give them away and quickly, I have absolutely no self control when it come to these treats!
I made some from your recipe today!! I’m going to post about them and link back to you – only, I used Biscoff instead of peanut butter because I didn’t want to use all our peanut butter and then have to go to the grocery store 3 days before Christmas!
I’ll either post today or tomorrow!
