Noelle O Designs is on YouTube!

Noelle O Designs

Hello friends, I’ve been working on a new project this year that I’m very excited to share! It’s a YouTube channel created to inspire creativity and eco friendly ideas on how to fix and reuse what you already have. Check it out and subscribe! What would you like to learn how to make or fix?

My mission is making and up cycling garments and goods, mostly through sewing but occasionally other formats. I love practicing creative thinking and doing when faced with the challenges of living in a modern, disposable world. Let’s learn how to fix and repurpose quality items we already own. Avoid purchasing full retail by thrifting and lessen our environmental impact. Learn lifelong creative practices to practice and share. Live simply so others can simply live.

And if you are in Utah (or have a relative who passes out buddy pass airline tickets and can get here this weekend) be sure to stop by the Beehive Bazaar Handmade Art and Craft– in it’s 9th year, it’s quite literally the best Utah has to offer in local handmade goods, and what it better than handmade? Nothing!

a few more fans- make your own Hunger Games shirt

I was very impressed with the results- even a little spray glitter for the final layer. These shirts were made much like in the previous post. A printout of the mocking jay symbol and lettering was created then cut out with a exacto knife. It was then taped to the shirt and lightly spray painted over. The paint will hold up in the wash- you might want to wash it with all dark colors the first time around- just to be safe.

A few more stencil options-
