before photoshop…

If I happen to make it to New York before January 2013, I will absolutely be popping into The Met to take a closer look at the “Faking It: Manipulated Photography Before Photoshop” exhibition. Doctored photos in every way imaginable from the 1840 through the 1990′s and on several fascinating themes, browse through online-  if you dare. Decidedly intriguing, you might be surprised to discover you weren’t the first one to think up putting a head on a platter next to the seated body, even if you were the first one to put it on instagram.
