Handmade Valentine Party Ideas

Here are great handmade valentine party ideas. Last night we went to couples valentine making party at a friends house. Lots of good food, new and old friends, and a table heaped with art supplies for making valentines and love notes. Paper, rubber stamps, embossing stuff, and glitter are not usually my medium- which is probably what made it so fun. It was so enjoyable to just sit and chit-chat with everyone and get crazy making valentines.

Here are a few handmade valentines I made, and a felt heart I sewed the other day. I really appreciate the use of all the for a handmade valentine party with great supplies and ideas. It is such an effort to just get out all of the crafting supplies so I don’t do it as often as I should. Everyone needs an out of the way space where we can have everything just left out, neat and ready to go. We need a project room/studio. I guess someday we’ll figure out a bigger house. But for now it was fabulous to enjoy the art supplies of others. I hope we didn’t leave behind too much of a mess. Thanks Hailey and Christopher!

The party was fun! The clean up is still going on, and on and on. (That is when I’m not obsessing over the latest OK Go video.) Studio space isn’t everything it’s cracked up to be, especially with children about. Mine is covered with carts of their photos/school projects, their current school papers, and boxes of *#$ §™•*! toys that I don’t want them playing with and leaving under foot. Gotta figure this out. It was good that my studio sorta spewed the supplies and we made a few valentines. My kidos love their Love Tickets. (Aahhh.)
