down duvet street

Just finished making and delivering these duvets to a friend. Enjoying the darling look of the whole room, I snapped a few pictures to share.

Easily hide midnight snacks in a stacked suitcases nightstand.

The best part of all the treasures in the room- from the suitcases to the quilts and vintage dressing gowns- is that they are all family heirlooms and not collected from antique shops. How many of us can make that claim?!

If you’re ready to make a duvet or comforter cover of your own, with a buttoned closure- you’ll find the full step-by-step tutorial here.

I think its incredible that you’ve put together such an amazing room using family heirlooms! This is vintage at its best! Everything is supposed to have character, and beautifully its all got character from within your family.
