flowers and citrus
I’ve spent the last two days working for my cute cousin Julia Smith of Bloom floral arranging flowers for a big DoTerra (essential oils) event in Salt Lake. It was fun to leave my world behind for a few days surround myself with flowers, and get bossed around by a really nice person.
Behind the scenes- in the underbelly of the Salt Palace, prepping 200 centerpieces.
Tulips, awaiting their final destination.
Tangerine and lemon arrangements- all ready to go.
The highly anticipated grapefruit arrangement…
Stunning and bright, the grapefruit arrangement- indeed the favorite.
Purple alstroemeria, carnations, lavender, and dahlias.
Awaiting delivery to the ballroom tables.
Two of these gorgeous arrangements stood on either side of the stage in tall clear vases full of water and limes and a few giant leaves surrounding the top of the vase.
Spectacular and oh what fun. And I didn’t even get a picture of the ballroom we were in such a hurry, and exhausted. Oh well, you get to see the best part of the whole picture right here.
