life, travel June 16, 2012 Singapore All of the tales are true, the Singapore airport is impressively clean and fancy. Gardens full of butterflies, cactus and orchids, koi ponds, sculpture, shopping, showering praying or meditating. One feature that stands out- lockable cubbies for your cellphones. Every airport has charging stations but not ones you can lock and walk away from while your phone charges. Meditation room, specific instructions on the door reminded you not to miss your flight. We paused to do some deep breathing and stretching. The fountain wasn’t running… but then again it was 3:30 am. Eat your heart out Willy Wonka.
