The day so far–>
7:59 am… carpool, fashion forward in the 6th grade.
8:01 am …completing the ensemble- striped pink and red toe socks (it’s a shame the toes are covered) and couldn’t-be-more-colorful Tom’s. It’s truly shocking she has only 1 stalker.
10:37 am… on the way home from Primary Children’s Medical Center. Is that cast #4 on that same arm? Yes, and let this be a lesson my friends- stay away from the skate park when you’re just out of 9 weeks in a cast. If you must participate, pretty please remember to wear your brace.
Doctor says, the old breaks are fine. But now there is a small fracture near the growth plate, 4 weeks more in a cast… awesome.
I think I’ll do a broken arm recap post tomorrow. The whole story from beginning to (almost) end. I’ve got some good and gross pictures, x-rays and cast artwork. The pictures are spread out over months and miles in an already crowded iPhoto. Injury organization is what’s needed, then I can create a little picture book and give it to him for Christmas.
For cast art pictures look here.

November 10, 2011 at 12:25 amI can’t believe it. Maybe you ought to keep him in that cast for an extra 4 weeks just to be safe. I forgot to ask about the refrigerated butter in the armpit in your cookie post. You don’t seriously do that do you? I got a good chuckle, but honestly, I didn’t know if it was for real or not.

November 10, 2011 at 12:52 amSo, YES, the armpit thing is real! Every time I microwave the butter it gets too mushy and makes the dough seem more watery if that makes sense. Room temperature is best- the armpit trick just gets the butter there faster.
