forgot all about it

I think the reason you start to forget things as you get older is the simple reason that there are so many years worth of information packed into your brain- something has got to go, info gets shoved into corners to make room for more. Seriously though, I’m thinking it might be that simple. Like this quilt for instance.

I just found these pictures while cleaning out my iphoto yet again (back up in the 10K range) I had almost completely forgotten about this quilt. I made it a few years ago for my mom’s bed and breakfast, Slot Canyons Inn, apparently Spooky Gulch must be one of the rooms I rarely visit.

I might need to make one for myself now, I had forgotten how much I like the pattern, Shirt Stripe Boxes from Kaffe Fassett’s Passionate Patchwork book. Here is the quilt top and backing all ready to go to the machine quilter, I can’t remember what color fabric I used to bind it with, see- I’m losing it.
